These wooden chopping boards bring together two of out favourite materials, wood and wrought iron. Hand made from field maple, the boards are perfect as either a chopping board or a bread board, one side is plain, one side has a drip groove. These sturdy boards are finished with a wrought iron handle and designed with durability in mind. Whether you are chopping, carving or just serving, the board will look truly at home in a traditional kitchen and the clean, fresh lines of the hand finished boards look just as at home in a modern kitchen.

The Field Maple range of boards are all hand made in Suffolk and they are made from solid wood.

Care: The boards are treated with Danish Oil which we source from Norfolk. It is the most suitable and durable oil for wooden chopping boards. When caring for a wooden board it is advisable to wipe with a damp cloth and dry. Frequent oiling will prolong the board's life, any butcher block oil or Danish oil can be used. Wood should not be put in the dishwasher or submerged in water.
