The wax cools and solidifies and the bee collects the wax with her legs and manipulates and shapes it into the hexagon cells that make up the honeycomb. The beekeeper collects the honeycomb which then goes through a number of stages, honey extracted, comb heated, cooled and then moulded into the blocks we use.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.madebytheforge.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/600x300-bees.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1771\" src=\"http:\/\/www.madebytheforge.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/600x300-bees.jpg\" alt=\"600x300 bees\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.madebytheforge.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/600x300-bees.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.madebytheforge.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/600x300-bees-300x150.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIt is phenomenal natural miracle to imagine such a tiny animal can make such an amazing product which has a multitude of uses.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.madebytheforge.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Honey-Bee.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1779\" src=\"http:\/\/www.madebytheforge.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Honey-Bee.jpg\" alt=\"Honey Bee\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.madebytheforge.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Honey-Bee.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.madebytheforge.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Honey-Bee-300x150.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was discovered to be one of the first plastics ever used and traditionally applied to protect wrought iron before modern paint was invented. It was found to have the best coating ability to preserve and protect the iron.
