But there is another element of the window frame that often gets overlooked. Curtain holdbacks are practical, decorative and can enhance a window in a very subtle way while doing its job of literally holding back the drawn curtain. Choosing how much the curtain should be drawn above the effect of the holdback allows you to control the light levels in the room.
