Forging a Future for traditional British Blacksmithing

We are pleased to announce that the Nigel Tyas Ironwork brand is now in the careful hands of Made by the Forge, friends, fellow artisans, and passionate advocates of handcrafted ironwork.

Nigel and Elizabeth have entrusted their legacy to Made by the Forge, another British craft business with shared values, a love of traditional techniques, and a passion for quality. Same signature designs. Same handmade quality. Same British heritage. Now hand crafted by the team at Made by the Forge.

“We’re honoured to carry forward the Nigel Tyas designs and the spirit of the craft.”
— Richard Fishenden, Founder of Made by the Forge
