The Thumper Wrought Iron Towel Rail was inspired when we were planting trees on a cold Feburary afternoon as part of our ‘Tree planting pledge’. The tool we use to ‘thump’ the soil in around the roots of the young tree is like a flattened ball and we decided to copy the shape. We came back and lit the forge, got warmed up and designed this elegant shape. A wrought iron towel rail with eco roots!
This Cannonball Handforged Iron Towel Rail has been wrought from a 16mm solid iron bar with a solid iron ball that has been handforged into the end. These wrought iron towel rails complement our kitchen rails and curtain poles and they are a perfect size to keep a bath towel or tea towel neatly in one place.
Material: Wrought iron
Finish: Matt black for towel rails, matt black or beeswax for toilet roll holder.
