Hi Richard,
Thanks very much, absolutely brilliant. I had to go get some slightly smaller black japanned screws so they didn't poke through as they have to hang under a narrow beam. Other than offering different screws/fasteners, packing and delivery was great and really easy to put up.

Great article in 'Country Living' ­ thanks for letting us all know about it! What an encouraging and edifying story.
We are absolutely thrilled with our kitchen handles. It is such a delight, after having lived so long in rented places because of non-permanent work contracts, to finally have our own home and be surrounded with all the materials we longed for. The kitchen has stripped gnarled ceiling beams, a rough stone floor, units of matt-oiled oak, and worktops of unpolished slate, and your handles make the perfect finishing touch. It took us a while to find them, as so many initially promising products on offer from other businesses actually turned out to be made cheaply in the Far East, and/or have an unpleasant feel to them; it is so rare to find that perfect balance of elegance-plus-rusticity that yours have. We had similar trouble finding traditionally made, non-kitsch thumb-latches for our very rustic internal doors, before finally sourcing some made by a small Herefordshire foundry ­ but those were via another company that stocks a range of ironmongery, so we didn't have the pleasure of the direct contact with the producer that we had with you.

Hi Richard,
Just wanted to let you know that the new pole is in place and working well so far. The extra middle section has done the trick and I think the extra brackets are working pretty well. The pole holds in place pretty well when moving the curtains back and forth with just a slight bit of movement, i think the centre join twists slightly as it moves. I don't think it is an issue but did wonder if putting in some holes for the bully screws to go into might sort it in case you want to try that in the future.

I love my new curtain poles.
They fit my windows beautifully and I couldn't be happier with them! I will gladly send picture along. I haven't yet because for some reason, the top of the curtains are leaning forward, so-to-speak. I'm not sure if this is from the type of header I've sewn-in, or maybe the style of drapery pin hooks that hang from the curtain rings.
